Emirates Vascular Surgery Society is a non-profit society founded in 2021 by surgeons, Emirates Vascular Surgery Society under the umbrella of Emirates Medical Association and have established an excellent society with educational and support programs for surgeons and integrated health professionals. The mission of the society is to advance the art and science of vascular surgery by continually improving the quality and safety of care and treatment of patients with vascular diseases.

Dr. Deena Al Qedrah is UAE national, and a general and vascular surgeon. She graduated in 1995 and has been in clinical practice for over 20 years. She is working as specialist vascular surgeon at DHA. Dr. Deena is a member of royal college of surgeon in Ireland and has won the Dubai Excellence Award of 2014 as a vascular surgeon.

Biography
Dr. Mohamed Okelah is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with more than 16 years of experience. He completed his medical degree and MD in Ain Shams University, Egypt, and obtained two fellowships of Peripheral Endovascular Intervention and Brunkwal Cologne Aortic Grafting, Germany. Additionally, Dr. Okelah is the co-founder of the Emirates Vascular Surgery Society and was elected general secretary of the Emirates Vascular Surgery Society.

Biography
Dr. Riza is a highly experienced consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon who completed his surgical and vascular surgical training in the UK, at centres of excellence such as the Royal Liverpool University and the South Manchester University hospitals. Prior to joining Mediclinic, he worked in the UK's NHS where, most recently, he was clinical director of Vascular Services at the Pennine Acute Hospitals in Greater Manchester, a tertiary vascular unit where he led the development and merger of Vascular services in Greater Manchester, including the commissioning of a state of the art Hybrid OR.
DR. ABDULRAHMAN MAHER

Biography
Before joining Mediclinic, he was a clinical lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Western Australia. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in Australia, including Gold Coast University Hospital, Hollywood Private Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Dr Maher received his medical degree in Egypt and did his research at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dr Maher trained in vascular surgery training in Auckland and Sydney. Dr Maher is an active fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and is a Harvard Medical school affliate in Surgical leadership.
